In a recent interview, Shweta Tiwari spoke about her pay scale and how it increased over the time of 8 years. In an interview with News18 Showsha, Shweta Tiwari revealed that she never had to speak about wages and more as she received what she deserved. She revealed that when she started the show, she used to get around Rs 2500-5000 per day. However, increments used to happen every year. So by the time she quit Kasautii Zindagii Kay, she used to earn Rs 2-2.5 lakh per day. In the same interview, Shweta Tiwari spoke about the experienced actors facing challenges now because makers are focusing more on other factors of the show instead of the actors. Thus, leading to lower wages.

Kasautii Zindagii Kay proved to be a stepping stone for Shweta Tiwari's successful career. She also participated in Bigg Boss season 4.
