This move will bring down the on-road price of hybrids, making them a more attractive option for drivers.

Previously, UP levied road tax ranging from 8% to 10% on car purchases. This waiver eliminates that cost, resulting in substantial savings. Let’s see how some popular hybrids benefit:

• Maruti Suzuki: The Grand Vitara’s price drops by ₹1.98 lakh, while the Invicto becomes ₹2.88 lakh more affordable. Maruti Suzuki’s stock even jumped over 5% on this news!
