Bobby Deol's journey into Bollywood as an actor has been full of ups and downs. He started off as a lead actor with the film Barsaat and it was a massive hit. He had the biggest launch and managed to strike a hit with his debut film. However, after delivering some major hits, Bobby Deol started witnessing a downfall from 2007. The actor appeared in almost six movies that failed to mint numbers at the box office. As per a report in DNA India, father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol then decided to make a relaunch film with Bobby Deol being an action hero. The film was titled Chamku. As per the report, the movie that also starred Priyanka Chopra was made on a budget of Rs 10 crore. However, when it hit the theatres, it turned out to be the biggest disaster. The movie barely made Rs 3 crore at the box office and was even pulled down from the theatres. Chamku brought major loss to production house Vijatya Films.
