"Ashik Kerib: Lost Backstage" exhibition opens on sidelines of Golden  Apricot  festival

ArmInfo. The Golden Apricot Film Festival and Rambalkoshe Contemporary Art Museum present the  exhibition "Ashik Kerib: Lost Backstage". Photos to be displayed in the exhibition will provide insights into Sergei Parajanov's final film.

They were discovered several years ago in street garbage cans  in St. Petersburg and were meticulously wrapped, signed, and arranged  in a box.  Perhaps this too has helped understand that photographer  and artist Elena Karusaar's photo series from the "Lenfilm" studio  vividly depicts Parajanov's final project.

The black-and-white prints that Karusaar made to advertise and  promote the film capture the essence of the filming process and  immerse viewers in an amazing world of objects, fabrics and textures.  We don't want and, to some extent, can't tell you more, so we are  going to wait for you on July 10 - from 6pm - until July 17.

The exhibition, which is free to attend, will be open daily from 10am  to 8pm. This event is made possible with the support of the Ministry  of Education and Culture, as part of celebrations marking Parajanov's  100th anniversary.
