Bigg Boss OTT 3: Lawyer Sana Raees Khan says Armaan Malik's second marriage with Kritika is illegal, here's why
Bigg Boss OTT 3 has been grabbing a lot of attention with contestants' fights. Contestant Armaan Malik entered the show with his two wives - Payal and Kritika. People have been expressing their views and opinions on the polygamous relationship between them. Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Karan Kundrra also expressed strong opinions about Malik family.

In an interview with lawyer Sana Raees Khan who has also been an ex-Bigg Boss contestant spoke to Indian Express about the Malik family and their relationship. Sana spoke about their marriage and said in India under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, a Hindu man can legally have only one wife at a time. She continued by saying that Polygamy is not permitted for Hindu individuals. She called Armaan's marriage with his second wife Kritika illegal and not recognised under Indian law.
She was later asked about Armaan and his wives given the popularity of the show, she replied saying that the portrayal of a Hindu husband with two wives on a reality show can create confusion about the legality of polygamy under Hindu law. She added saying that polygamy is not legally recognized in India for Hindus. Well, Payal got evicted from Anil Kapoor's reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3.

Armaan who is known as Sandip Jangda, was earlier married to a girl named Suchitra. The two parted ways and later he fell in love with Payal. Eight years later, Armaan met Payal's best friend, Kritika and got married to her. Armaan is a father to two daughters with Suchitra, three children with Payal, and one with Kritika.
