Stree 2 Trailer Review: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor tackle a headless monster amidst romance and laughter
The much-awaited Stree 2 trailer starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor is out and looks fun.
We have all waited a lot to finally watch the Stree 2 trailer. The movie stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy is a sequel to the 2018 superhit movie Stree, which entertained the audience thoroughly. As seen in the Stree 2 trailer, we learn that evil is back! Pankaj Tripathi reveals the return of the one who killed Stree, as predicted in the old scripts. We refer to the malevolent force as 'Sarkata', meaning the headless monster. He's back in Chanderi to cause more terror and harass the residents there. The sequel presents our characters in a great confusion as they have no clue how to deal with the new terror!
Rajkummar Rao's Vicky is in love with Shraddha Kapoor's character. However, we know nothing about her as the makers kept her identity a complete secret. Aparshakti Khurana tells Rajkummar that his girlfriend is a fantasy. However, Vicky is confident that she is real and his true love. Well, his love is true because Shraddha returns. The moment Kapoor entered the screen, we saw more romance blooming between her and Vicky.
In the Stree 2 trailer, we see Chanderi's women requesting that Vicky destroy the headless monster. However, Vicky is terrified, as the monster is a giant creature. Do you want to know what exactly this headless monster does? Well, he controls or influences the minds of men in Chanderi. The trailer shows that these men are not behaving well or have become violent. Vicky and his friends have to stop the monster before Mahapooja Day. If they fail to do so, the consequences will be deadly. So will they succeed in stopping the headless monster from causing more havoc with his monstrosity in Chanderi? That's something we will find out in the sequel.

The makers have made us wait six years for the sequel, and the intriguing trailer proves that it was worth the wait. The premise looks promising and packs in a lot of mystery. The pop culture jokes only make the humour better, and we know the horror element will also be amazing in the movie.
