Talking about the same, Emraan Hashmi said, "I could connect with the context of the scene of what he's saying. The subtext of that, of how you get so embroiled and swayed in with your work, and it's only about films.

And a lot of things in your life tend to take a backseat. And also the way the audience views you, from a very unidimensional point of view of how they see film people. Sometimes as commodities and a lot of people just want to troll. They don't see the humane side of people in this industry. A lot of things have been put into that speech of Raghu, but I think something that all film people feel in a way, that we're kind of pulled in with this life of films, that sometimes we lose perspective. And the audience also loses perspective and doesn't tend to see people for who they are. They just see the actor or the director, whoever it is, for their face value, and not the person behind that. So it's got a lot of subtext in it. And yeah, it's an interesting scene, the way it was written."
