Liquefied natural gas price rises sharply in Armenia: regulator blames external factor
p
YEREVAN, 18 July. /ARKA/. The sharp rise in prices of liquefied natural gas is due to an external rather than internal factor, said Gegham Gevorgyan, head of the Armenian Commission for Protection of Economic Competition./pp
According to him, the exchange price of liquefied gas has increased and currently fluctuates within 100-110 drams (per one liter)./pp ‘Such dynamics persists not only in our country, but all over the world,’ Gevorgyan told reporters./pp
He refuted claims that prices have risen because 21 companies (engaged in imports of liquefied gas) have left the Armenian market. The head of the commission noted that each of the 98 importers of liquefied natural gas in Armenia (even large companies) has a market share not exceeding 10%. -0-/pp nbsp;/pp nbsp;/pp nbsp;/p
