Bill Hemmer & Dana Perino joined Brian Kilmeade to discuss a report from Axios that President Biden may drop out of the presidential race, possibly this weekend. Dana is sad for President Biden but not surprised. Dana asks if Biden does drop out will the President make a speech while suffering the effects of Covid? Dana also said if Biden is pulling out of the campaign, can he actually serve as president for the remainder of his term? Dana posed the question, “If Biden leaves the race, what is the mechanism that the Democrats are going to use to get a new nominee?” Hemmer spoke about the potential of Kamala Harris being more of a challenge than republicans are giving her credit for. Hemmer also gave credit to Donald Trump’s team for not having JD Vance commit to a vice presidential debate, saying, “You don’t commit before a convention and you don’t commit to a candidate who may or may not be there.”
