According to Di Marzio, Genoa’s search has led them to former Atalanta shot-stopper Pierluigi Gollini.

Despite the potential of Martinez, he was sold to Inter without much regret from the Genoa camp.

Manager Alberto Gilardino is adamant about bringing in a dependable goalkeeper.

“Gollini is definitely a name on our radar,” a source close to the club revealed to Di Marzio.
