Speaking at a press conference after the fourth summit of the European Political Community in London, Macron said that if Yerevan and Baku finalise a peace treaty, Paris will support it.

‘I think that co-operation from a military point of view with a country is something quite normal in international life between two sovereign states,’ Macron said meaning French –Armenian weapons supply contracts.

The French president emphasised that ‘Armenia's perspective is peace, France's perspective is peace, I very much hope that Azerbaijan's perspective is also peace’.
