Double Trouble for Luxury Sedans: Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid & GTS Take Over

Porsche has unleashed two new weapons in the high-performance luxury sedan segment with the arrival of the 2025 Panamera variants in India.

Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid

Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is a record-breaking machine. Boasting the most powerful internal combustion engine ever offered in a Porsche sedan. With a staggering 771 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque, it rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. This hybrid powerhouse not only dominates the straights but also holds the Nürburgring lap record for ICE executive sedans.

The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid also offers impressive efficiency advancements. The upgraded 25.9 kWh battery delivers 45% more energy storage, and faster charging times ensure quicker refueling.

Panamera GTS

For driving enthusiasts, the Panamera GTS offers a thrilling experience. This “most agile Panamera” ever delivers 493 horsepower, a 20 horsepower bump over its predecessor. It conquers the 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 302 km/h.

The GTS prioritizes driver engagement with a sports exhaust system, lowered air suspension, and reinforced anti-roll bars, all contributing to a sharper and more responsive handling experience.

Visually Distinct and Luxurious Inside

Both Panamera variants showcase distinct design elements. The Turbo S E-Hybrid boasts standard rear-wheel steering and active suspension for exceptional handling. Optional upgrades like a carbon fiber Aerokit and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires further enhance its performance potential.

The GTS prioritizes a dynamic driving experience with a sports exhaust system, a lowered air suspension, and reinforced anti-roll bars. Visually, the car boasts distinct black GTS logos, a unique front section, darkened LED headlights and taillights, and red brake calipers. The standard Sport package adds a touch of aggression with black finishes on various elements and contrasting Dark Bronze tailpipes. Inside, the Race-Tex suede-like material elevates the cabin’s sportiness, with exclusive interior packages available in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo.

India Focus: GTS Takes Center Stage

While India will only receive the Panamera GTS due to regulations on hybrid vehicles, it arrives as the most powerful Panamera model in the country. Starting at Rs 2.34 crore, the GTS offers an unmatched driving experience for discerning enthusiasts. Expect deliveries for the Panamera GTS to commence by the end of this year or potentially in 2025.
