Anu and Anuj's reunion could not take place before the leap as Aadhya threatened her father and then there was an accident scene. Post the leap, Anu is seen handling an old age home. Anuj Kapadia has completely transformed and instead of his sharp and suave look, he is now seen with long hair, beard and completely lost. However, post leap, Anu and Anuj are going to come together. In Anupamaa, all Anu (Rupali Ganguly), Shahs and Anuj Kapadia (Gaurav Khanna) are living quite next to each other. They are in the same area. While Shahs and Anu keep bumping into each other, Anuj is thoroughly lost. He visits a temple everyday to play flute. Apart from that, he does not know much about what is going on in the world. Before the leap, we saw that he met with an accident while he was worried that his Chotti aka Aadhya would do something wrong. Post the leap, fans are not aware about Aadhya's whereabouts. In today's episode, we see Anu too visiting the temple. A lady holding a small baby slips and falls. The baby's name is Aadhya. As the lady screams, Anu and Anuj run to catch the baby who has flung in the air and is going to fall on the ground any minute. Anuj manages to catch the baby and that is when he comes face-to-face with Anu. She instantly recognises him. However, it is unclear whether Anuj is able to recognise her or not. So they have met thanks to Aadhya but she is not their daughter. Earlier, we see Anuj having a recap of all that transpired between the two and getting completely frightened. He kept screaming Anu while the Pandits tried to calm him down.
