Kapil and Sumona often take friendly jabs at each other on the comedy show. However, the actress was not featured on Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show. There were also rumours that she didn't leave TKSS voluntarily. Hence, led to speculation if she got fired from Kapil's show.

After months of speculation, Sumona Chakravarti has finally responded to the rumors. Sumona, who has been filming Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 in Romania, has now disclosed whether there are any issues between her and Kapil Sharma. In an interview with News18, the Barfi actress called these reports weird, as she saw a nice article a few days ago. A journalist assured her that the reports were not accurate. However, an article in another publication contradicted her statements. The actress remained silent because she was in Romania.

Furthermore, clearing up the 'getting fired' reports, The Kapil Sharma Show actress said that the show ended in July last year. So it's not like she resigned or was fired. After that, they all went ahead and took on individual projects. Sumona Chakravarti stated that she's doing Khatron Ke Khiladi, and Kapil Sharma did another show. There is no bad blood between them. The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actress said, "Why would I be upset (with Kapil)? He and I worked before, and I went to Romania."

When asked if such negative reports bother her, Sumona Chakravti responded that such things don't bother her anymore. Had this situation existed 20 years ago, when she began her career, it would have impacted her. Now she's too old for this.
