Armenia`s Ambassador to Greece met with the Commander of the NATO Rapid Deployment Corps in Greece

ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan, during his working visit to Thessaloniki, met with the Commander of the Third Army Corps of Greece,  commander of the NATO Rapid Deployment Corps in Greece, Lieutenant General Athanasios Garinis.

According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Greece, Garinis highly appreciated the friendly Greek-Armenian relations based on a common system of values, noting that the cooperation established between the Ministries of Defense of Armenia and Greece has a solid foundation.

The interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of defense. In this vein, they raised issues related to the implementation of agreements reached during the official visits of the Armenian Minister of Defense to Greece in December 2023 and the Greek Minister of National Defense to Armenia in March this  year.

The Ambassador of Armenia also presented achievements and current programs in other areas of Armenian-Greek bilateral relations, and also touched upon regional events.
