Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin TV serial has has witnessed many leaps. The last season had Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma as the leads. Shakti played the role of Ishaan. Within a year, the season came to an end and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin witnessed another leap. Bhavika Sharma got retained, however, Shakti Arora's character came to an end. Now all the fans are waiting for him to announce his next project. He is taking his time to pick the best. In a recent interaction, the actor spoke about the risks of taking up a new show and how it can affect an actor's career.

In a podcast with Fahmeen Bhat, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin star Shakti Arora mentioned that earlier the shelf life of TV serials used to be minimum two to three years. However, now, if the shows don't gain enough TRP, the makers pull the plug withing three months. Thus, he shared that it is risky to pick and choose a new show as if it does not work, an actor's career can get adversely affected. He further mentioned, "This is because you were unable to prove your mettle, and that is why doing long-running shows is important." In the same podcast, he also spoke about fan mania in Indonesia. He stated that the fan craze was such that his cloths used to tear up. He said, "But vaha par bohot fame tha. Matlab ghadi, sunglasses sab nikal lenge, jacket fatt ke bahar aa jayegi. Jab tak stage pe pochte, aadhe kapde toh fatt chuke hote the."
