It's the second theatrical release for the actress this year, who earlier starred in Mr & Mrs Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao. Janhvi made her acting debut in 2018 with Dhadak. While some praised her performance, some also trolled her. As a star kid, Kapoor is often on the receiving end of criticism, mean comments, and trolling. In an interview, Janhvi Kapoor responds to the online criticism she faces due to her celebrity status. In an interview with Mashable India, the Mili star said that one shouldn't take themselves too seriously. Whether you are a public figure or not, people will still troll you on social media. Kapoor believes that one shouldn't give themselves too much importance. The Dhadak actress said that it's not like people are passing comments only on her.

Furthermore, the Gunjan Saxena actress added, "People will praise you for something, and later, they will troll you for the same things." But one cannot cry over that. According to Janhvi, what matters is how a person looks at themselves.

Talking about Ulajh, the film also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Jitendra Joshi, and others. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film is slated to hit theatres on August 2, 2024. Last week, after the trailer launch, Janhvi was admitted to the hospital due to severe food poisoning. The actress is now okay and has returned home.

After Ulajh, Janhvi Kapoor will have another release in 2024, Devara: Part 1. The action thriller marks Janhvi's debut in the Telugu film industry. Directed by Siva Koratala, the film also stars Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Devara will hit theatres on September 27, 2024. Janhvi has already signed her second Telugu film with Ram Charan. Currently being called #RC16, it will be helmed by Buchi Babu Sana. Janhvi will reunite with her Bawaal co-star Varun Dhawan for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a romantic comedy. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also stars Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra.
