Empoli reportedly pursuing Simone Bastoni’s return. An update on the negotiations

Empoli are targeting a return of Simone Bastoni following his stint at Spezia. Negotiations are currently underway with the Ligurian club.

According to Pianeta Empoli, although Simone Bastoni has returned to Spezia after the Tuscan club Empoli decided against exercising their purchase option, a return to Empoli is not out of the question.

“The talks between Empoli and Spezia are ongoing,” noted a source from Pianeta Empoli.

The negotiations are reportedly focused on finding a mutually agreeable arrangement that would see Bastoni donning the Empoli jersey once again.

Both clubs are keen to finalise the deal as soon as possible, recognising the benefits it could bring for both the player and the teams.
