Independence Day 2024 is going to be quite eventful at the box office. Four films are going to clash. With 15th August falling on a Thursday, the day becomes extra special as the movies releasing can sort of enjoy the benefit of the extended holiday. 19th of August is Rakshabandha that is also a holiday. Thus, many filmmakers rushed to block the date to release their films. Four biggies are going to clash. The list includes Stree 2, Vedaa, Khel Khel Mein and Double Ismart.

Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi is one of most-awaited movies. After the stupendous success of Stree, fans are eager to know what's next in store for them with this horror comedy. Apart from this, just yesterday, Akshay Kumar confirmed that his movie Khel Khel Mein is going to release on August 15. The movie also stars Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu and others. Vedaa movie starring John Abraham, Sharvari, Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee is an action thriller. Directed by Nikhhil Advani, Vedaa is said to be inspired by true events.

Puri Jagannadh's Telugu action thriller Double Ismart starring Ram Pothineni, Sanjay Dutt and more is also slated for 15th August release. Given the buzz for South Indian movies these days, the film does become one of the tough competitors for the Hindi movies releasing on the same day. So which ones fans are most excited for? BollywoodLife conducted a poll on social media asking fans which one they are a likely to watch. The results are out and there is a clear winner. As we write this story, Stree 2 has received 71 percent of votes. The second in line is Vedaa starring John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh. It received 11 percent votes. The third one on the list is Sanjay Dutt's Telugu drama Double Ismart with 10 percent of votes. Surprisingly, Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein has received the least amount of votes, i.e., 8 percent. Well, there's enough time for all the movies to jump up the ladder by creating maximum buzz for the movies.
