In a new interview, the Phir Hera Pheri star was asked if he had ever been cheated in the film industry. Akshay revealed that he has experienced cheating because some producers failed to pay him what was due. On Sarfiri Baatein ft Ghazal Alagh, Akshay Kumar shared that cheating is something that's common. When someone financially cheats him, he doesn't talk to that person. He keeps quiet and stays away from the person. The BMCM star stated that there have been a few producers who haven't cleared his dues yet, and that's cheating.

Akshay Kumar's revelation comes after he recently addressed his string of flops over the past few years. Despite having numerous releases, most of them have failed to generate significant revenue. In the interview, the Housefull star shared that when a film doesn't work, it hurts and impacts him. Kumar added that every film is made with lots of blood, sweat, and passion. However, his disciplined nature helps him stay motivated and keep working.

After Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira, Akshay Kumar will have a new movie releasing next month: Khel Khel Mein. It's a comedy drama that also stars Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, and Aditya Seal. The film is slated to release in theatres on August 15, 2024. Akshay's film will clash with Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and John Abraham-Sharvari's Vedaa. Reportedly, Akshay has a special appearance in Rajkummar and Shraddha's movie.

After Sarfira, Akshay Kumar will also appear in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. Starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles, the cop action drama also stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. Singham Again will release in theatres on November 1, 2024.
