Shweta Tiwari has confirmed that she is working with Karan Johar next and spills the beans on what her character is going to be like.

The audience adored her character, Prerna, which also served as her second identity. Since KZK, Shweta has worked on several intriguing shows. Last year, the actress appeared in Rohit Shetty's web series, Indian Police Force, which starred Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty. Well, the actress has now signed a new project with Karan Johar.

Shweta Tiwari is all set to appear in Karan Johar's Dharma Productions' new web stories. The actress herself confirmed the big news. Shweta even spilled the beans about what her character is going to be like in the web show. The Parvarrish actress told News 18 that in Dharma's new upcoming web series, she is playing a don-like character. On the show, Tiwari will wear sarees and smoke cigarettes. The actress called it a very challenging role, and hence, she took it up.

When asked about other details about the web show, Shweta Tiwari refused to disclose anything. In the same interview, the Kasautii Zindagii Kay star revealed that she is ready for the new chapter where she takes on such smaller roles. Shweta told the portal that, while she has been the main face of television, she is now stepping out and trying something new. She wants to explore different types of roles as an actor. Tiwari realises that she has to accept smaller roles if she wants to work with a certain director or an actor. She wants to step into different avenues in her career every five years.

Shweta Tiwari added that she is quite content in her life today, with whatever work she gets. She is very much at peace in her personal and professional lives. Tiwari stated that she does a project if it's good, even if the money is less. She still has the greed to do good work, even today. The actress' daughter, Palak Tiwari, is also an actress. Last year, Palak made her Bollywood debut in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ji Jaan. The film stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, and others.
