Juve reportedly consider Akliouche as Plan B if Koopmeiners deal falters.

Juventus, facing potential complications in their pursuit of Teun Koopmeiners, have a backup plan in place, courtesy of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli. As reported by Tuttosport, Juve are eyeing Maghnes Akliouche as an alternative midfield target.

With the funds from the sale of Matías Soulé, Juve initially set their sights on Koopmeiners, considering him the primary target to bolster their midfield.

However, recognising the complexities involved in securing Koopmeiners, Giuntoli has identified Akliouche as a viable alternative. This move has been dubbed a “Giuntolata”, reminiscent of Giuntoli’s successful acquisition of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia for Napoli.

Akliouche, a 22-year-old left-footed attacking midfielder, is versatile enough to play as a right-winger, adding depth and flexibility to the squad.

Tuttosport were the first to report this development, shedding light on Juve’s strategic planning in the transfer market.
