ArmInfo. Artsakh children took
part in a 3-week summer shift of the youth project "The Day After
Tomorrow", which took place from July 7 to 26 at the international
school "Interdom" named after E.D. Stasova.
According to the message received by ArmInfo, 55 schoolchildren from
Artsakh refugee families took part in the event. The program was very
intense and included master classes, creative meetings, excursions,
studying the Russian language and communicating with peers from
Russia.
A lot of time in the camp was devoted to team activities so that the
participants of the shift learned to help each other and stick
together. Thanks to water and sports relay races, photo quests, where
the squads were divided into teams, the children developed their
communication skills, worked in a team, learned to understand each
other, made joint decisions and showed maximum creativity.
In addition, the camp participants at Interdom took part in a quiz
from the Russian Society "Knowledge" of the All-Russian project
"League of Counselors" and got acquainted with the All-Russian
educational program "Orlyata Rossii". The children also took a trip
along the Golden Ring of Russia, the first stop was Yaroslavl. Then
the travelers went to Kostroma, visited an elk farm, where they
watched the animals, stroked them and fed them carrots, and also took
part in a master class on making chocolate.
Today, July 26, in Moscow, the children will also meet with the
Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of Russia. In
Moscow, they will also have a 4-day excursion program: to VDNKh, a
sightseeing tour of Moscow, the zoo, the Darwin Museum, Zaryadye Park
and leading Russian universities for future career guidance. The
final event of the trip will be a sports festival prepared by their
peer, professional tennis player Alina Soghomonyan. On the morning of
July 30, the children will return to Armenia.
