Senior Trump Advisor Chris LaCivita Doesn’t Rule Out Sept. 10th Debate

Chris LaCivita, Senior Advisor to Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, joined Brian Kilmeade focusing on Vice President Kamala Harris‘ 2024 presidential campaign and the uphill battle she faces against former President Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance. With Harris agreeing to a debate with Trump, LaCivita said Harris will regret that decision and the Trump campaign isn’t ready to take the debate offer because the democrats don’t have a nominee yet. This is after Trump’s campaign released a statement saying “it would be inappropriate to schedule things with Harris because Democrats very well could still change their minds,” suggesting he will not debate Harris. LaCivita said, “There’s still an open window for someone to challenge her. She doesn’t even have a VP. So once that gets settled, then we’ll take it from there.” LaCivita asserted that Trump and his campaign will set the tone and agenda moving forward, and that they are not ruling out the originally schedule September 10th debate date. In response to former RNC Chair Michael Steele saying Donald Trump will not “man up” and debate Harris, LaCivita said, he “generally doesn’t give blowhards like Michael Steele the time of day. He’s a joker. He’s a grifter on MSNBC. So, I let it be. It’s not worth my effort.”

When discussing Harris’ record as a prosecutor, LaCivita did not hold back, stating, “she’s been coddling criminals since she took the oath of office.” On the topic of JD Vance, LaCivtia said they are fighting for the for the working women of the United States, of the forgotten people, of the middle class and that Vance is the perfect representation of that.
