Rep. Byron Donalds: Democrat Turned Republican In A Chaotic Political World

Born in Brooklyn, New York to a single mother — Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) was always taught to research everything for himself instead of following the crowd. The advice would ultimately lead him to leave the Democratic Party shortly after the financial collapse in 2008 and run for Congress as a Republican.

 

With such an interesting political perspective, Rep. Donalds discusses how he feels about all the historic moments that have happened over the last few weeks — from Vice President Kamala Harris becoming the new presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, to former President Donald Trump choosing Senator JD Vance (R-OH) to be his running mate.
