Farah Khan and Sajid Khan lost their biggest support yesterday. Their mother, Menaka Irani passed away yesterday. She reportedly was ill for a long time and went through multiple surgeries. She was 79 years old and we saw so many of Farah and Sajid's friends coming to be with them. However, a source close to BollywoodLife informs that Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan have been very close to each other. Apart from being the actor, director jodi, they are also close friends and SRK has been close to the family. He has been close to Farah's mother as well and this loss was very personal to Shah Rukh Khan.

The source shared that Shah Rukh Khan got emotional yesterday after Menaka Irani passed away and he was seen sitting besides Farah for hours. He was consoling his friend and making sure he is with the family in the most difficult time.
