Farah Khan had recently shared an adorable birthday post for her mother, Menaka Irani. It was on July 12 when Menaka Irani celebrated her birthday. Farah and Sajid Khan's heartfelt birthday posts left fans emotional. However, today, they have lost their mother. Menaka Irani passed away today at the age of 79. As per reports, she had been battling an illness for some time before her passing. It seems she had undergone multiple surgeries and breathed her last on July 26.

Farah Khan's mother passes away

Menaka Irani is the sister of renowned child actors Daisy Irani and Honey Irani. She also has been in the film industry for a brief time and appeared in the 1963 film Bachpan alongside her sister Daisy. More details about her demise are not out yet. Farah and Sajid have not yet posted anything about the same.

Talking about Farah Khan's birthday post for Menaka Irani, she spoke about how we take are mother for granted. She shared a beautiful picture with her mother and wrote, "We all take our mothers for granted..especially me! This last month has been a revelation on how much i lov my mom Menka.. she s been the strongest, bravest person iv ever seen.. sense of humour intact even after multiple surgeries. Happy birthday mom! Today's a good day to come back home can't wait for you to get strong enough to start fighting with me again.. i Lov u"
