After the film was released, actress Urmila Matondkar and businessman Anand Mahindra took to their X accounts and also said that Vikrant Massey's performance deserves a National award. 70th National Film Awards is around the corner and Massey told Hindustan Times that he remains cautious about his outlook and even expressed a desire to avoid discussing it too much to prevent jinxing his chances. He said that he is grateful for the praise and support he has received.
