A Glimpse into the Architecture

The teaser image offers a glimpse into the motorcycle’s potential architecture. The battery appears to be housed within a tubular diamond-type split double cradle frame, with a compact motor positioned beneath it. The presence of a chain drive system and forward-set footpegs suggests that the showcased component might belong to either the Ola Cruiser or Roadster, two previously unveiled concept models.

From Concept to Reality

Ola Electric first introduced four futuristic electric motorcycle concepts on Independence Day last year, though these designs were largely conceptual. However, recent developments indicate a shift towards more practical models, with the company filing patents for three new e-bike designs.

The newly revealed battery pack is notably larger than those typically found in Indian electric scooters, hinting at a longer range and potentially higher performance for the upcoming motorcycle. One of these designs features a premium roadster aesthetic with performance comparable to a 160cc petrol motorcycle. The patent images showcase a double cradle frame, a chain drive system, and a motor mounted on the frame – elements corresponding to the recently teased battery pack.

Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed that Ola Electric plans to launch multiple motorcycle variants by early 2025.
