Carboni moves closer to Marseille as final details agreed with Inter, includes contract extension

Valentin Carboni is set to become a new player for Marseille, but first, he needs to renew his contract with Inter Milan.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan and Olympique Marseille will resume discussions about the Valentin Carboni deal next week to finalise the transfer.

The details of the deal are expected to involve a loan with an option to buy.

Both clubs have agreed on a loan with a fixed buyout clause to be finalised.

Fabrizio Romano stated, “Inter Milan and Marseille are working on the details of the deal, which should be wrapped up soon.”

The agreement hinges on the contract renewal with Inter before Carboni makes the move to France.

This renewal is pivotal for ensuring the smooth transition of the player from Serie A to Ligue 1.

Once the renewal is in place, the loan move with the buyout option will proceed.
