Cagliari reportedly responds to potential Luvumbo move to Parma
Parma have approached Cagliari to enquire about the feasibility of transferring the Angolan forward Zito Luvumbo.
The inquiry was made by Parma earlier today, with the Emilia-Romagna club showing considerable interest in the young talent.
Zito Luvumbo, born in 2002, has caught the eye of many with his promising performances.
Cagliari view Luvumbo as one of the team’s key assets under the management of Davide Nicola.
Despite the strong interest from Parma, Cagliari are adamant about their stance regarding the 20-year-old.
“Cagliari consider Zito Luvumbo as one of our top prospects, and we have no intention of letting him go at this moment,” said a representative from Cagliari.
The source, who wished to remain anonymous, added, “We appreciate Parma’s interest, but our focus is on building a competitive squad with Luvumbo as an integral part.”
With Cagliari holding firm, it remains to be seen whether Parma will intensify their efforts to secure the forward in the upcoming transfer window.
