Folorunsho reportedly signs new contract with Napoli.

Napoli have officially confirmed the contract renewal of Italian midfielder Michael Folorunsho.

In a statement published on their website, Napoli announced the extension of Folorunsho’s contract.

The midfielder has returned to the Partenopei after loan spells in Serie B with Verona and in Serie A with Reggina.

“Michael is an important player for us, and we are thrilled to have him back,” said Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli’s President, in the official statement.

Folorunsho’s performances during his loan spells have evidently impressed the Napoli management, leading to this contract extension.

Details surrounding the duration and terms of the new contract, however, have not been disclosed by the club at this time.
