Armenia`s MFA confirms Armenian, Turkish special envoys` meeting

ArmInfo. The Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed the fact of the meeting on July 30 at the Armenian-Turkish border of the special representatives for the normalization process between Armenia and Turkey, Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kilic.

As reported by the press secretary of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ani Badalyan, the 5th round of negotiations between Yerevan and Ankara will take place at the border tomorrow.

Earlier, Turkish journalist Sena Alkan reported that tomorrow the special representatives of Turkey and Armenia for the normalization process - Serdar Kilic and Ruben Rubinyan will hold the 5th round of negotiations at the Turkish-Armenian border. She noted that the meeting will take place in the morning on the Armenian side, in the afternoon - on the Turkish side.

On July 1, 2022, the fourth meeting of the Special Representatives for the Normalization Process between Armenia and Turkey, Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar K?l?c was held in Vienna.

The parties agreed to ensure the possibility of crossing the Armenian-Turkish land border for third-country citizens visiting Armenia and Turkey, respectively, as soon as possible, and decided to initiate the necessary processes in this direction.
