ArmInfo. The working visit of the head of the Armenian MFA Ararat Mirzoyan to Nicosia began with participation in the Annual Ambassadors'Conference of the heads of diplomatic missions of Cyprus.  As reported by the press service of the Armenian MFA, about 50 ambassadors, as well as the leadership of the MFA, participated in the meeting.  The head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry thanked his Cypriot counterpart for invitation, the first-of-its- kind and noted that Yerevan has excellent relations with Nicosia. The dynamics of cooperation and deep understanding of each other's positions are extraordinary. My colleague Minister Kombos and I have agreed on further development of cooperation, and Armenia plans to establish a permanent diplomatic representation in Cyprus. I believe that this will provide new opportunities for further unification of efforts and expansion of the scope of cooperation," Mirzoyan added.  Then the Minister presented Armenia's foreign policy priorities, the steps taken to implement them, cooperation with international partners, as well as the ongoing democratic reforms. Mirzoyan also touched upon the challenges facing the country, including regional ones.  He also touched upon the processes of normalizing relations with neighbors, including the importance of efforts to complete negotiations with Azerbaijan on a peace treaty and conclude it. The Minister highlighted the opportunities provided by the implementation of the "Crossroads of Peace" program developed by the Armenian government.  The ambitious agenda of the Armenia-EU partnership, as well as the recent achievements, future tasks and prospects were also thoroughly discussed.
