Childless Cat Ladies

I cannot overstate this next point, please heed my warning, mocking women for being “childless cat ladies” will backfire.

For once it’s not Donald Trump at the center of controversy this election cycle, but rather his running mate, JD Vance.

Vance’s 2021 comments on “childless cat ladies” have resurfaced and regardless of the context or partial truth in those comments, it’s not going over well. 

Trump needs support from women and independents and as a woman, I can tell you that referring to female voters as “cat ladies” or pointing out their lack of kids isn’t gonna do JACK to win them over. 

Offending your potential voters over something as personal as maternal status is stupid. 

Remember in 2016 when Hillary called us “deplorables?”

Yeah, it didn’t go over so well. We dug in harder for Donald Trump.

So this scenario is no different.

The continued commentary on Kamala being dumb, or DEI, or a childless cat lady is going to make a martyr out of her and her entire campaign. 

Bad move!
