BollywoodLife spoke to Sanam Saeed about reuniting with Fawad Khan and how much they have changed as actors and people. The Barzakh star said, "It's obvious that after twelve years, age, life experiences, other work projects, COVID, and so many other things change people. We evolved, and I think we were in our 20s then we were in our 30s, and there's more than a decade passed between us in terms of evolution. Nothing has changed in terms of our comfort, which was very nice to see. My friends on set... we don't keep in touch otherwise. But we are very comfortable and friendly on set, which is how I like."

Sanam Saeed stated that she doesn't have many friends in the industry. Most of her friends are school or childhood buddies. So it felt nice to have that comfort zone on sets with fellow actors. Further, about reuniting on screen with her Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Fawad Khan, Sanam stated, "I act a lot more with my co-actors. Fawad is someone with whom I haven't acted in a long time. So it's nice to pick up from where we left off, in terms of camaraderie and comfort."

The Deedan star added, "The comfort of trusting each other and what we are going to throw at each other, we can improvise, we can tell each other different ways to try things on sets, and no one's ego gets hurt. No one feels conscious, and we truly value each other's feedback, which is crucial in a show like this. It was nice to have him back on set."

Barzakh isn't Sanam Saeed and Fawad Khan's only collaboration. The duo will also appear in a Pakistani movie called Aan. The filming for this project is currently underway. Haseeb Hasan helms Aan, which also stars Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Ali Palijo.
