But for groups of losers in power in Armenia, 2020 war would not have been lost - opposition MP

ArmInfo. Revelations by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about Ankara unleashing a war against Artsakh and direct participation in the invasion of Artsakh have infuriated official Baku. This was written on his Facebook account by opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan.

"I have the honor". He recalled Baku's comment in response to Erdogan's statement, calling it baseless.  Azerbaijan noted that Turkey and Pakistan provided only political support in the 44-day war.

"I will not say anything new here if I mention that Turkey's direct involvement in military operations - from recruiting terrorists to planning operations, developing, using certain types of weapons, etc., was clear to the main actors from the very beginning. What is the problem that Baku is so nervous? The fact is that one of the propaganda pillars has been broken, that their army was at a combat-ready level to win the war.  Secondly, Azerbaijan has always tried to spread false theses that the Armenian side won the war of the 90s with foreign help, and now its main ally is bringing this topic back to Baku. One thing is absolutely clear:  in 2020, the war would not have had such a shameful outcome if this group of losers had not been at the helm of power in Armenia," the MP noted.

Earlier, Erdogan made threats against Israel, stating that "Turkey can enter Israel just like Libya and Karabakh." In turn, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, commenting on Erdogan's words, stated that Turkish troops did not take part in the military actions of the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
