Special representatives for the normalization process between Armenia and Turkey, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kılıç of Turkey held their fifth meeting on Tuesday at the Margara-Alıcan checkpoint on the border of the two countries.

‘They reaffirmed the agreements reached during their previous meetings, the Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service said in a statement.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;

In addition, they agreed to assess technical needs in line with regional developments that will create opportunities for the launch of the Akhurik-Akyaka railway border crossing point, as well as mutually simplify visa procedures for holders of diplomatic/service passports.nbsp;nbsp;

At the end of the meeting, they re-emphasised the agreement to continue the process without any preconditions to achieve the ultimate goal of a full-fledged normalization between the two countries. -0-
