Milan Reportedly in Talks with Cagliari for Scuffet, Who Have Already Pinpointed Perfect Replacement

AC Milan is currently in negotiations for the Rossoblu goalkeeper, Simone Scuffet, as Cagliari identifies his replacement, aiming to close the deal soon.

Marco Sportiello’s hand injury has caused concern for the AC Milan management, prompting them to look for a new deputy for Mike Maignan.

Sky Sports reports that, at this stage, the discussions are merely at the information-gathering phase.

“Sportiello’s injury has really put us on the spot,” said a source close to the Milan camp, as reported by Sky Sports. “We need to act quickly to ensure we have adequate cover for Maignan.”

Cagliari, on their part, are already looking for Scuffet’s replacement to facilitate a smooth transfer.
