Naagin 7: Did Ekta Kapoor cast Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as the lead? Latter reveals [Exclusive]

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary spoke to BollywoodLife and opened up about the news stating that she is doing Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 7.

Everyone has been eagerly waiting for the new season of Naagin. Since a long time, we haven't seen the show and Naagin 6 was a huge hit again. Tejasswi Prakash, Simba Nagpal and Pratik Sehajpal were a part of the show. Ekta Kapoor had cast Tejasswi and the others from Bigg Boss 15. However, many expected that she would do so with the other seasons of Bigg Boss as well. Since, Bigg Boss 16, Naagin has not gone on-air. A lot was being said about the show and as per reports many celebrities were also approached for the show.

It was being said that Ekta Kapoor has approached Ankita Lokhande, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Isha Malviya, Ankit Gupta, Abhishek Kumar, Rubina Dilaik, Shehzada Dhami and others. However, nothing like this happened. However, Priyanka's name has been coming up since a long time.

Is Priyanka Chahar Choudhary doing Naagin 7?

Ekta Kapoor had entered Bigg Boss 16 house and had expressed her wish to work with Priyanka. It was being said that Priyanka will do the show. However, she is a part of Ekta Kapoor's project but it is not Naagin. Priyanka is doing a web series, Dus June Ki Raat.

The series also stars Tusshar Kapoor alongside her. BollywoodLife spoke to Priyanka and asked her about the rumours of her doing Naagin 7. She said, "No, I am not doing Naagin. These rumours are doing rounds since I came out from Bigg Boss 16. So, now I am clarifying that I am not doing Naagin. Right now, I just have Dus June Ki Raat and you guys will see me in some other projects as well."

Well, Priyanka has set the records straight now and so everyone can stop speculating about her. However, recently, it was being reported that Naagin 7 is not happening this year but we can expect it in 2025. But this year, there will not be any Naagin 7 as the team has also stopped the preparations.
