TVS Ronin Parakram: A Tribute to Kargil War Heroes

TVS Ronin has unveiled the Parakram edition, a custom motorcycle designed to honor the Indian Armed Forces’ bravery during the 1999 Kargil War. Crafted by East India Motorcycle Revolution Customs, the Parakram boasts a rugged and audacious design, featuring unique paintwork and several elements inspired by the war.

The motorcycle’s rear section has been modified with a stainless steel luggage carrier, and it rides on knobby tires for a rugged look. The paint job is a standout feature, with images of valor embedded on the front and rear mudguards. The design incorporates brass bullet-inspired indicators, a circular lamp with the number 99, and an olive green color scheme with Kargil war-themed graphics. The tank features a striking steel armor design with the Kargil Diwas logo and the Indian tricolor.

While the Parakram’s striking appearance pays homage to the Kargil War heroes, the motorcycle retains the mechanical specifications of the standard Ronin. It is powered by an air/oil-cooled 225.9cc, single-cylinder engine producing 20.4hp and 19.93Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension setup includes a USD fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock, while braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS
