Gianluca Nani, the Group Technical Director of Udinese, spoke about the transfer move in an interview with Sky Sport.
“Lui a Udine ha lasciato il cuore. Ha fatto sempre molto bene,” Nani expressed.
Translated, Nani said, “He left his heart in Udine. He has always performed very well.”
The Chilean forward, who previously played for Udinese from 2006 to 2011, is expected to rejoin the club soon.
Nani’s statements reflect the club’s optimism about Sanchez’s return.
