Romiit Raaj talks about his engagement to Shilpa Shinde

Nobody was happy with it but at the end Shilpa was eliminated from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Amidst this, the news about Shilpa's engagement with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Romiit Raaj has gone viral.

They were about to get married but their engagement was called off just before their wedding. They met on the sets of Maayka in 2007 and fell in love. It has been a long time since they broke up but the news is now doing rounds. She spoke to Etimes and explained that she felt too young to marry then and also said that during her stint on Bigg Boss 11 that Romit's family had become overly demanding.

Now, Romiit Raaj has opened up about his engagement with Shilpa. After the news came up again, he was asked about it recently. He spoke to India Forums and said that it has been 15 years, and since then, they haven't seen each other. He shared that he can only say that whatever happened was for the best.
