According to Azerbaijani media, this statement was made by Miles Robert Armitage, the newly appointed Australian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, during the presentation of his credentials to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

In response, Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan will continue its efforts to advance the regional peace agenda. He also assured that peace has already been established in the region.
