In an interview with Zoom, Zayed Khan spoke at length about family dynamics and about his bond with Hrithik Roshan. Talking about Hrithik and Sussanne moving on and everyone being okay with it, Zayed Khan called his family is 'New Modern Family' referring to the American sitcom. He added that it is crazy and there is extreme acceptance from everyone. He said, "It has taken a while to get there, but now that it is together, it is beautiful. We all party together, we get together under one roof, and have a ball."

Zayed Khan further spoke about his bond with Hrithik Roshan. He mentioned that even though Hrithik and Sussanne Khan got divorced, his bond with the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobarra actor hasn't changed one bit. They never drifted apart and they remained the same because Hrithik's children are like his children, added Zayed. He mentioned that they are too mature for all this. He said, "There are more important things. It was their choice, and what had to happen, happened." Zayed also added that whenever he needs any advice, he calls up Duggu.
