Amid Jaya Bachchan objecting to being referred as 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan', Rekha's words for him from an old video go viral

Jaya Bachchan is ruling the headlines and social media because of one video of her from the Parliament. Jaya Bachchan is a Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha from Samajwadi party and she often speaks up her mind during the question hour. A week ago, Jaya Bachchan objected to Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh calling her 'Jaya Amitabh Bachchan'. She mentioned that had he called her 'Jaya Bachchan' would have been enough and argued that 'women have their own identity'. Once again, this topic came up in the Parliament as Jaya Bachchan commented on it. Amid all this, an old video of Rekha has resurfaced on the web.

All are aware of Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan's history. The Silsila actress has opened confessed that she was deeply in love with Amitabh Bachchan. On Simi Garewala's show, she was asked whether she loved Big B, to this, she said 'absolutely'. She mentioned that everyone on this planet is in love with him so why should she be singled out? Rekha was further asked whether she meets Amitabh Bachchan, to this, she added that she does see him a lot at award functions and more. She also further added that she is one of those lesser mortals for whom just a whiff of Amitabh Bachchan was enough.
