Hummels reportedly turns down Bologna but may still end up in Serie A

Mats Hummels has turned down Bologna’s offer, but his future could still lie in Serie A, with two clubs reportedly in pursuit.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the former Borussia Dortmund defender has declined Bologna’s contract proposal.

Despite this, the German centre-back might still be on his way to Italy, as interest from two other Serie A teams remains strong.

Di Marzio commented on the situation, saying, “Hummels has rejected Bologna’s offer but this does not rule out a move to Serie A, as there are two other clubs keen on securing his services.”
