Head of Rossotrudnichestvo reacts to Armenian history textbook

ArmInfo. Head of  Rossotrudnichestvo Yevgeny Primakov commented on the situation with  the new interpretation of the history of the Armenian people in the  updated textbook on the History of Armenia for the 8th grade, where  Russia is presented as an occupier.

"Russia, which saved Armenia and the Armenians from dissolving in the  Persian world, Russia, which essentially raised and created the  Armenian statehood, which literally did not exist since ancient  times, Russia the liberator is the occupier of Armenia, this is what  they write in the new Armenian history textbooks. That's how things  are," Primakov complained.

Yesterday, another scandal erupted in the Armenian segment of social  networks related to the new interpretation of the history of the  Armenian people according to the current authorities of the country.   Photos from the page of the 8th grade textbook on the History of  Armenia, where the chapter dedicated to the Russian-Persian War is  titled "Russian occupation of Eastern Armenia", have spread across  the network.
