Armenian Ambassador visited  Aikaterinis  Laskaridis Foundation in Athens

ArmInfo. On August 7, Tigran Mkrtchyan, the Armenian Ambassador to Greece, visited the Aikaterinis Laskaridis Foundation in Athens. 

According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Greece, Mkrtchyan thanked the Director of the Foundation, Mrs. Kali Pagoulatou-Kyparissi, for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of cultural cooperation in developing bilateral friendly ties. 

The Armenian Ambassador highlighted the significance of cultural events in increasing mutual awareness, specifically mentioning the concerts and events organized in the recent period. 

The interlocutors discussed the potential for hosting joint cultural events and scientific master classes on the foundation's premises. 

In turn, Kiparisi, outlined the importance of bilateral cooperation by presenting the foundation's activities and upcoming projects. She also acknowledged the valuable contributions of prominent Armenian scientists in Greece to the fields of science and education in the country. 

Following the tour with of the Foundation's library, the Armenian Ambassador donated literature in English and Greek on the Armenian Genocide as well as the history and culture of Armenia to the " Aikaterinis  Laskaridis ".
