Jaya Bachchan scolded THIS actor for wearing 'Chaddi Baniyan' at the airport

Jaya Bachchan is known for her strict demeanour. Often her videos go viral in which she could be seen schooling the paps on their behaviour. Even her videos from the Parliament speeches make it to the social media. Now, she is in the news as one of the actors from Bollywood recalled how he got scolded by her for not dressing appropriately at the actor. This revelation has been made by Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi.

In a conversation with Samdish Bhatia on his YouTube channel, Arshad Warsi recalled the time when he showed up in shorts and baniyan at the airport and received a message from Jaya Bachchan that he should not be dressed like that. He stated that it was during his first film Tere Mere Sapne that he was travelling to Hyderabad and he sat in the flight wearing 'chaddi and baniyan'. He recalled "Pehle toh vaise he ghoomte thay dance-vanse karte thay (We used to wear such clothes earlier. We were dancers). When Jaya ji got to know about this, I received a message, 'Please tell Mr Warsi to dress appropriately while traveling.'" That's not all. There was another incident with Jaya Bachchan when he almost got schooled.

Arshad Warsi recalled that Jaya Bachchan once called him to know his opinion on a film. So when she asked how was it, he unabashedly said 'bakwas'. Jaya Bachchan then took him to the corner and said 'Keep your opinion to yourself.'. The Munna Bhai MBBS actor also spoke about 'yes man' culture in Bollywood and how it is best to not give your honest opinion even if the film is bad.
